Children can develop rickets which is a bone disease if there is a deficiency in this vitamin. Adults can develop osteomalacia. Do eat milk, fish oils, butter and egg yolks for getting good levels of vitamin D.

Vitamin K

The K vitamin is good for your body as it develops its blood clotting ability that helps to heal your cuts and wounds. If you have a deficiency in this vitamin your skin may have a tendency to bleed very easily. You should eat green and leafy vegetables, dill pickles and soybeans.

Vitamin B2

This vitamin is responsible for turning food into energy in your body and it also promotes healthy skin, good eyesight and nervous system so that it works tip top. If you lack on this vitamin you will have cracks at the corners of your mouth, sore throat, skin rashes hypersensitivity to light and a purple tongue. You can eat enriched breads and cereals, and also dairy products, green vegetables, poultry and fish.
